Daisy Lowe's relatable post on taking breast pump out to dinner

"Nipple covers at the ready!"

Daisy Lowe has proven she's just as relatable as ever, taking to Instagram to reveal she recently took a breast pump and nipple covers out on her first date night since welcoming her daughter earlier this year.

"Last night was our first date night... since Ivy arrived!" the model and mum-of-one wrote in the caption of the post, mentioning her daughter who was born in April. "I was so nervous about going out for a whole evening… maybe mostly about missing her."

"I had my breast pump in my bag and nipple covers at the ready!" she went on, making a reference that all breastfeeding parents will be able to relate to. "I also didn't think I would be able to keep my eyes open past 10pm," she added with a laughing emoji.

Elsewhere in the post, Daisy reflected on the importance of taking an evening away from her newborn and enjoying quality time with her partner. "My goodness it was a treat to look across the table at my handsome fiancé/baby daddy (although he wouldn't allow me to take a picture of him) and actually have a conversation about some things that didn't concern our little angel dumpling daughter," she wrote.

Continuing with that thought, she ended her post: "As well as the most delicious dinner, it was washed down with the most exquisite glass of red wine and I couldn't be more grateful for a little us time and now a refreshed view on motherhood this morning."
