Sep 01, 20232024 Glass Magazine Awards | Glass Magazine
The 2024 Glass Magazine Award winners went beyond—beyond code requirements, past achievements and what previously seemed possible. This year’s eight project award winners and seven product award winners demonstrate what glass, and glass industry companies, can aspire to achieve.
Multifunctionality of products and projects made for a very strong competition this year. Winning nominations show that when the design community asks for energy efficiency, jumbo size, impact rating, security and aesthetics, glass and glass industry products can deliver. This multifunctionality also led to a new project category this year that recognizes the complexity and custom nature of glazing and metal systems: Best Specialty Glazing.
The 2024 competition also saw an incredible number of nominations for the Best Decorative Glass project category, leading the editorial staff to split the category in two for the first time in a few years. The new categories, Best Interior Decorative Glass and Best Exterior Decorative Glass, showcase the visual interest and dynamism this glazing adds throughout the built environment.
The awards program is only possible with the expertise of our project award judges, who lend their time and experience to adjudicate the project competition. We would also like to thank the wider industry for taking the time to vote in the public products competition.
Glass Magazine’s editorial staff thanks all the companies that took the time to complete a nomination form. We realize that many more industry companies have outstanding projects and products they could showcase. The project awards would not be possible without the expertise of our judges, who come from every part of the glass industry. The Glass Magazine editorial team again thanks them for taking the time to share their insights with us.
